Family Sundays at the Art Museum

Every Sunday, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., families can enjoy free activities at the art museum, including kid-friendly art projects and a 30-minute guided tour of the exhibits designed just for small visitors and their families.

Morpho Mardi Gras

Visit the Butterfly House in Faust Park and delight in the wild display of colors, courtesy of the thousands of gorgeous Morpho Blue butterflies in residence. Guests are invited into the garden conservatory to learn about the critical role butterflies play in nature and can even take part in special weekend workshops.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

St. Louis revels its Irish roots with not one — but two — St. Patrick’s Day parades. The first parade will meander through Downtown St. Louis while the more traditional parade will take place in Dogtown and feature horse-drawn carriages and floats. You can even catch an Irish festival if you stick around.

St. Louis Earth Day Festival

St. Louis Marathon and Family Fitness Weekend

One of the largest marathons in the Midwest, the St. Louis Marathon is the ideal opportunity to get out and enjoy the fresh air after a long winter indoors. Perfect for people of all ages, the event features a traditional marathon course, a half-marathon, a 5K, 10K, children’s fun runs, and fitness expo.
